In yet another bid to eradicate terrorism from its soil, Afghan forces in collaboration with the coalition forces carried out reconnaissance to get access to the enemies when Taliban insurgents showered bullets and attacked the coalition forces with rocket-propelled grenades.
Maneuver against militants.
After the maneuver, the coalition forces located the enemy and called for the air force help. In seven hours of vigorous battle twenty-four Taliban insurgents were killed, two coalition soldiers suffered minor injuries and no civilian casualties are reported.
Increasing terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.
In the recent couple of days, violence in Afghanistan has increased considerably. Taliban insurgents are trying their level best to destabilize Karzai government and the rehabilitation process in vogue with the international aid. Strict measures against any such wicked mechanization to stop Taliban mar the developmental process is required.
