The United States forces are facing big failure and humiliation in Afghanistan. The situation of US is the same as it was of Soviet forces in Afghanistan long back.
A renegade Afghan warlord has claimed about it in a video message. It criticized Pakistan for giving support for US-led counter terrorism operations.
Further, the Associated Press has reported Gulbuddin Hekmatyar’s statement also on this matter. He too accused US administration for fomenting conflict among Afghan ethnic groups on a large scale comparable with the trouble in Iraq.
Hekmatyar said in a recorded statement that
everyone knows that the American aggressors are faced with defeat in every part of the country.
They were unable to achieve their goals by bombing innocent Afghans. They are preparing to leave like the Soviet troops.
The Indian Express has reported that Hekmatyar had led one of the militant factions along with Taliban and Al-Qaeda fighters for an intensifying insurgency in Afghanistan.
On the other hand, the US and NATO officials have insisted that they can still defeat the insurgents in the country.
The officials, who are working on the reconstruction projects, said that the real time is coming to convince Afghani people that the country is heading for a stable democratic future now.
