
Twenty-four children were injured in a suicide bomb attack on a group of children in southern Afghanistan when they taking gifts from NATO troops.
A suicide bomber detonated explosives strapped to his body thrown himself on the children. 24 children have seriously injured, four of them are still in a critical condition. Some of the NATO peacekeeping forces, said to be from Canada, were also injured.
According to interior ministry spokesperson Zemaray Bashari, it was a suicide attack, it inflicted children, civilian and military casualties.
However, the Taliban forces have taken the responsibility for the suicide attack and confirmed that about ten Canadian soldiers had died.
According to professed Taliban spokesperson Yousuf Ahmadi, Qudratullah, a resident of Kandhar, detonated explosives strapped to his body targeted a Canadian foot patrol and killed ten Canadian soldiers.
