The United States has asked Islamabad to take strong actions on terrorists organisations and sponsoring terrorism directed against India by Kashmiri separatist groups.
The US undersecretary of state Nicholas Burns said that we do not want to see any kind of terrorism stemming from Kashmiri terrorist groups in the region. Pakistani government should use its influences with these kinds of groups to stop any terrorist activities towards India.
He said further that, the US do believe that every country should be able to live free of terrorism. US have great sympathy for the Indians who lived with these terrorist attacks.
This has happened for the second time in last few weeks that senior US officials have referred to Pakistan-inspired terrorism to India.
The Pakistani envoy to the US, Mahmud Ali Durrani, has accepted perhaps for the first time, that his country had helped the jihad in Kashmir. At the same time, he said that Pakistan is now trying its best to end it.
