There is a shift of terrorists to Pakistan since the coalition forces denied the safe haven to them after the 9/11 terror hunt in Afghanistan. And Musharraf’s duel policy made their shift easy and this is what you can term as ‘asking for trouble’. While dismantling the Red Mosque clerics, Musharraf pulled the panic lever and thereafter Pakistan is submerging in the pool of blood everyday.
In yet another suicide attack, but this time in a high-security military camp near about 70 kilometers to the Northwest of Islamabad when a suicide bomber intruded the security and detonated himself inside the dining hall of an army base as soldiers were sitting down for dinner. The following deaths and injuries were reported in the attack:
•Attack led to the killing of 15 troops
•Injured 11, six of them seriously
Will Pakistan pay for Musharraf’s blunders? Not to speak, it’s already paying, but for how long? What else can you expect when Musharraf rejoiced playing with fie. Even if Musharraf goes off the scene, he has dug a deep pit for whosoever (Bhutto, Nawaz...) takes over the reign and with each passing day situation is becoming insoluble puzzle for the future.
