Hafiz Mohammed Saeed, founder of the Lashkar-e-Tayyaba has been released by the order of a court in Pakistan. He was taken into custody on August 29 without giving any cause of detention.
Further, according to Defense lawyer Nazir Ahmed Ghazi, the Lahore High Court upheld the decision and the government ordered to set him free.
Earlier, the public solicitor had informed the court that because of Saeed’s activities, Pakistan’s relation with its neighboring countries is declining.
However, the lawyer did not describe his alleged activities and the detail of neighboring countries.
He was blamed by India for carrying out the Mumbai train bombings in July in which 186 people died.
The Pakistan police detained Saeed earlier when an alleged plot was thwarted in Pakistan and Britain to blow up trans-Atlantic passenger planes. Since then he was detained several times.
