Molly Campbell or Misbah Irum Ahmed Rana will go to her mother’s place in Scotland now. The months-old legal battle over the girl’s custody has come again in news as Lahore High Court has given the order that the British girl to go back to her mother.

According to the decision, Sajad Ahmed Rana, girl’s father should hand the girl to her mother in a week.

Earlier, the British Police had launched an enquiry in August when Molly Campbell, 12, left her mother in the Western Isles of Scotland and came to Pakistan with her father.

However, the girl had showed her wish to stay with her father in Pakistan. As the judged given the order the girl, reportedly, put her head on her father’s shoulder and started to cry.

Abdul Basit, the lawyer of Rana family is preparing to challenge the decision in the Supreme Court. During the hearing, a representative of the British High Commission was also there in court.
