Pakistan is expecting the general elections next years and President Pervez Musharraf is busy in making his image as best leader Pakistan has.
He has said that
despite of being Pakistan an Islamic country, the Hindu population and other minorities are enjoying equal rights like that of Muslims.
Further, he said that there is no any problem if more temples would be established in Pakistan.
Musharraf also said that,
there is no doubt in my mind that Pakistan is an Islamic Republic. According to Qaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s vision, the minorities have equal rights what Muslims have here. They are as much real Pakistani as the Muslims are.
He told that he has provided fixed representation to minorities in the country. He has no problems with Sikhs now working in the military academy. Recently he had visited to a Shiv Temple in Pakistan also.
