
Middle East is on the verge of at least three civil wars and this is the right time for International community to take preventing steps to restrict the possibility of civil wars in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine.
Jordan’s King Abdullah has given this warning to the International community.
King Abdullah is going to host US President George Bush and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki in Amman in this week. He said that the US should concentrate on the ground pictures of the problems in Iraq as well as in Syria and Iran too.
Hewas saying this on ABC television that
we could possibly imagine going into 2007 and having three civil wars on our hands.
It is time that we really take a strong step forward as part of the international community and make sure we avert the Middle East from a tremendous crisis that I fear and I see could possibly happen in 2007.
According to him, the central issue in the region is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is linked to the extent of what is going on in Iraq, Lebanon and other parts in the region.
