There is something unreal and eerie when full-blooded worldly men sit at conference tables to discuss such unworldly issues like the reincarnation of future lamas, the reinstatements of deities once displaced as unworthy to be offered worship and whethere to accept the Buddhas as anyone different from you and I. It reminds us of the ancient lament so well rendered by that now forgotten band - Boney M; ‘By the Rivers of Babylon we sat down and wept...‘
That was the lament of the ever hunted Israeli Jews and now should be sung by the Tibetans replacing the words ‘Rivers of Babylon’ with the ‘Hills of Tibet’. The same ancient Egyptian callousness that tampered with Yahweh now provokes the Communist Chinese to destroy the Tibetans. Yet we wonder why would the atheist Chinese bother even a wee bit with religion, why should they even care to appoint their own lamas as being reincarnated entities. Why not break down all lamaseries and kill all the monks of every religion in China? Good riddance then, once and for all. Save Tibet reports, quite naively, that the great Europeans have showed some concern against these Chinese regulations.
The EU has also issued a statement routinely condemning the Chinese on 17th October. We have to read the report from two angles.
a) Why the European community has taken so long to issue such a report and is there any choice of timing for the release of the statement?
b) Also, why has not China immediately defended itself when the report categorically find fault with Chinese Human Rights? And just in passing, may I point out that His Holiness the Dalai Lama figures nowhere in either this report or in the future plans of China.
Europe is a known toady of the US. The French were somewhat anti-US before Sarkozy but now has fallen into line. After all, most of the white Americans have their roots in Europe and it is only natural that races take care of their own. Very recently the US populace has decided to boycott for various reasons, everything Chinese. This has been analyzed in detail before. Not to fall foul with the US the EU has issued this statement. Let not the Tibetans think that the Europeans are too bothered with them. Instead of asking to return Tibet to the Tibetans and to allow the Dalai Lama to return to His home; here are two entities which do not respect the Faith of the Tibetans but are yet talking of their lives! Neither the Europeans nor the Chinese have any clue about what it means to be refugees, what it feels to be giving up one’s own Faith and culture. And let the Chinese not fool themselves that they are furthering their own unique agenda when they pooh-pooh everything Tibetan as being alien to mainland China? Does China have anything in the way of tradition now? Can China say that even her politicking is Asian? The Chinese had long ago become vassals of the West. Its national philosophy is only Europe’s thrown off Marxism. If I were a German today, I would be glad that my country man’s ideology, rejected by me now, has been idolized by yellow people all over the world. Remember the racist antecedents of the whites, just the other day reinforced by the Nobel Laureate Watson. So a country which finds none from its own land to follow, will hardly respond to criticism when it comes from the land of its new god; Marxism, Leninism, Stalinism.
China is a perfect mimic of the West and thus having learnt colonialism from her Masters will naturally snuff out the peace loving Tibetans. White Europe can never tolerate a nation which does not worship her.
At least, by these statements Europe can come out as an agent of reconciliation to the East so far directly ruled by her. Now has the time come for indirect and a viciously diplomatic neo-colonialism.
