The Gas Centriguge Uranium Enrichment Plant at Natanz, Iran
The issue of North Korea is still haunting the western countries as well as the Asian countries too. A new issue is waiting to blast in Asian continent now. The European countries of the U.N. Security Council have demanded to put sanctions against Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile program.
The European countries have demanded to ban on the trade of technology and on the material needed in the missile programs. Further, the European countries have sought to freeze of financial properties of people who are actively involved in these programs.
France’s U.N. ambassador, Jean Marc de la Sabliere, has said that the draft of the resolution has been circulated by France, the United Kingdom and Germany to China, Russia and the United States. There is a demand to restrict the travels of officials who are involved in nuclear weapons program running by Iran.
On the other hand, Iran has continued his program and has established a second tumble for uranium enrichment. The plant would start injecting uranium gas into it in some days. Once the injection of the gas will start, Iran will get the product of the second centrifuge cascade.
Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reacted on the draft made by European members of UNSC by saying that western countries should understand clearly that Iran would not move back under political pressure from its nuclear plans. Iran wants to enrich uranium to counter electricity problems.
